Our Foundation

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

2 Timothy 2:15

The Mission

Revival Baptist Church exists to glorify God by standing firm upon the timeless truths of His Holy Word, as preserved in the King James Bible. We are committed to preaching the whole counsel of God with boldness and compassion, reaching the lost through faithful, weekly soul winning and evangelism. Our church holds fast to the old paths—lifting our voices in the great traditional hymns of the faith, maintaining reverence in worship, and upholding sound, hard preaching that convicts, challenges, and changes lives for the glory of Jesus Christ.

"Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." Ephesians 3:21

The Vision

Our vision is to fulfill the Great Commission by reaching the greater Orlando area and even the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We take Christ’s command literally—going door to door, preaching the Gospel to every creature, and seeking to reach every home and every heart with the good news of salvation. Because the world comes to Florida, we see it as our God-given opportunity to reach the world from our own backyard. By standing firm on the King James Bible, preaching with conviction, and singing the old hymns of the faith, we desire to see souls saved, lives changed, and true revival spread from Orlando to the uttermost parts of the earth.

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8

What We Believe

We are an Independent, Fundamental, KJV only, Soul winning, Baptist church faithfully serving the Lord in the greater Orlando area. We hold to the old ways of practice and worship set forth by scripture and make no apologies for our convictions and beliefs!

The Bible

Salvation

Eternal Security

We believe that the King James Bible is the perfect Word of God. We believe that the King James Bible is inspired and preserved and without any error. We believe every word of God is pure and thus any changes or modernization to the words of the King James Bible would be a corruption of God's inspired words.

“The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Psalm 12:6-7

We believe that salvation is by faith alone in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation is not by works of any kind including repenting of ones sins.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

We believe “once saved, always saved”. Once a person believes and trusts in Jesus Christ, the Bible teaches that it is impossible for a person to lose their salvation. It is everlasting.

“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” John 10:28

Repentance

Hell

The Trinity

We do not believe that a person must “repent of their sins” or “turn from their sins” to be saved. Salvation is not achieved by turning over a new leaf or cleaning up your life. It is by grace through faith, not of works.

“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,” Hebrews 6:1

We believe that Hell is a literal place of fiery torment. A person who dies without believing on the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in the lake of fire.

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15

We believe that the Godhead is made up of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and that these three are one.

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” 1 John 5:7

Baptism

Soul Winning

End Times

We believe in full water immersion, and that scriptural baptism must follow salvation and is only for those who have already placed their faith in Jesus Christ. While baptism is a command of God and the answer of a good conscience toward Him, it has no power to wash away sins, is not a requirement for salvation, and is not a work that proves the existence of faith.

“And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” Acts 8:37

“The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, ) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:” 1 Peter 3:21

We believe that it is the duty of every Christian to go out and preach the Gospel to the lost. Revival Baptist Church is a soul winning church. We believe and practice door to door soul winning. We believe that God wants all people to be saved, therefore we do not believe in Calvinism or “irresistible grace”. We believe that an unsaved person cannot be saved unless they hear God’s Word and are given a choice to believe on Jesus Christ or reject the free gift of eternal life. Salvation is a choice made by the individual.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” Proverbs 11:30

We believe in a post tribulation – pre-wrath rapture. We do not believe in a secret pre-tribulation rapture. The rapture takes place after the tribulation, but before God pours out his wrath on the Earth.

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light... and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:29, 31

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind... as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God...” 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

Zionism

Dispensationalism

We believe that God’s promises are fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ and in all who believe on His name. We reject political and religious Zionism, which teaches that the modern nation of Israel holds a special divine right apart from faith in Christ. According to Scripture, there is no distinction in God’s plan between Jew and Gentile, for all are one in Christ Jesus. We believe that the true Israel of God is made up of all believers—those who have been saved by grace through faith. The blessings of Abraham come upon all who are in Christ, and God’s covenant promises are realized in His church, the body of Christ, which is commissioned to preach the Gospel to every nation.

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:26-29

“For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter;” Romans 2:28-2

We believe the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the inspired, infallible, and preserved Word of God as found in the King James Bible. We reject dispensationalism and any system of interpretation that divides the Word of God into conflicting messages or separate plans of salvation. We believe that throughout all ages, salvation has always been by grace through faith, and that God has only ever had one people—those who are redeemed by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The church is not a “parenthesis” in God’s plan, but the very body of Christ, called to preach the same everlasting Gospel to every creature until He returns.

“Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:21

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,” Revelation 14:6

“That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:” Ephesians 3:6
